Muay Thai, sometimes referred to as “Thai boxing,” is a martial art and combat sport that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This discipline is known as the “art of eight limbs,” as it is characterised by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, and shins.

Kickboxing is a group of stand-up combat sports based on kicking and punching, historically developed from karate mixed with boxing, with Taekwondo, Muay Thai, and Savate also having some influence.

Taekwondo is a Korean form of martial arts, characterized by punching and kicking techniques, with emphasis on head-height kicks, jumping spinning kicks, and fast kicking techniques. The literal translation for tae kwon do is “kicking,” “punching,” and “the art or way of.”

A truly unique way to mix it up

Our school is different from your traditional gym because we are always innovating to stay ahead of the game. With a mix between Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and Taekwondo with traditional boxing footwork and head movement you will find yourself honing a unique style that allows for strikes to be thrown from all distances. Our end game goal for each student is to prepare them for real world encounters and to allow them to build discipline, self-confidence and patience. During this journey they will learn to defend themselves and become leaders. Click below to learn about our styles.
